Why Universal's layout changes the transportation plan

Universal Orlando now spans three theme parks — Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe — connected by CityWalk and a water taxi system linking the parks to the on-site resort hotels. Drop-off at the main entrance plaza

Universal's group drop-off sits at the entrance plaza shared by Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, a short walk from CityWalk. Epic Universe uses its own separate arrival area, so a group splitting a day between the original two parks and Epic Universe needs a driver who knows to reposition rather than wait at the wrong entrance.

CityWalk evenings

A lot of our Universal bookings are evening pickups from CityWalk after a day in the parks, when guests are moving between restaurants and the theater rather than heading straight to a bus. We build in a flexible pickup window for CityWalk nights rather than a fixed minute, since groups rarely leave a park exactly on schedule.

Booking for a Universal day or multi-day stay

Single-day park visits typically book a round-trip pickup and return. Multi-day stays at an on-site Universal resort often just need airport transfers on either end, since the resort's own water taxis handle park-to-park movement. Combining a Universal day with a Disney World day on the same trip is common enough that we build multi-park itineraries regularly.
