Tri-Cities Regional Airport (TRI) sits almost 300 miles from Nashville, out in the Bristol/Johnson City/Kingsport corner of the state near the Virginia line. It's the farthest-flung airport we cover in Tennessee, and Tri-City Aviation runs the FBO there for the private and corporate flights coming into the region — a lot of it tied to manufacturing, healthcare systems, and the motorsports business around Bristol Motor Speedway.
